Driver cited for fiery Lisbon crash
LISBON — The driver of a work truck involved in a fiery crash Monday in Lisbon was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and a woman who pulled the other driver from her vehicle may get village recognition. According to a Lisbon Police report for the accident at 4:57 p.m., a Ford F-550 driven by Michael Alan Stouffer, 51, Fair Avenue, Salem, was attempting to turn left from South Lincoln Avenue onto West Lincoln Way and pulled out in front of an eastbound Toyota Highlander driven by Melissa Ieropoli, 63, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, causing her vehicle to strike the work truck.
