LISBON — A secret indictment for aggravated vehicular homicide was served Thursday to a Niles man accused of causing the death of a Tennessee woman in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 172 in West Township last fall. Michael James Scheuring, 39, was indicted last week for the third-degree felony charge, with the indictment alleging that on Oct. 11, 2025, while operating a 2025 International, he caused the death of Diane Lewallen, recklessly. LISBON — Lisbon resident Stevie Halverstadt is looking for volunteers to help her clean up the hillside along Little Beaver Creek in the village starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, with everybody asked to meet behind Ketchum’s Kreations flower shop on East Washington Street. “We’ll have trash bags.
