Naturalist Series returning to the Mahoning County Extension Office

The Mahoning County Extension Office is bringing back its Naturalist Series, a monthly educational speaker series designed to connect the community with Ohio’s natural history, wildlife, and environmental resources. Held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., the Naturalist Series invites residents of all ages to explore a wide range of nature-based topics led by knowledgeable local experts. ESC of Eastern Ohio hosting Education Job Fair on March 17

The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio will host a Education Job Fair on Tuesday, March 17. Nineteen local schools and educational organizations will attend the event scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at the center, 7320 N. Palmyra Road in Canfield. Recent and upcoming graduates in education, credentialed teachers, substitute teachers, classroom assistants, bus drivers, speech language pathologists, school psychologists, and more can meet with recruiters and district administrators to learn about opportunities available in the area. Rodman Public Library announces March activities

ALLIANCE – Rodman Public Library will host the following events in March: Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:30 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library.
