Robert Zewe Jr., 51, Erie, Pa., pleaded guilty to attempted compelling prostitution, a fourth-degree felony, amended from third-degree compelling, as well as possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanor engaging in prostitution. SALEM — A Salem house fire Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of several animals. According to a Facebook post by the Salem Fire Department, the department responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Highland Avenue, finding heavy smoke in the rear of the structure. In a separate post by the Columbiana County Humane Society, agent Fabian Pike confirmed there were a total of seven animals on site. Three dogs were saved while four cats perished.
