Quakertown Super Kids to mark 20 years Saturday
SALEM — Quakertown Super Kids will be celebrating 20 years of soap box racing in Salem at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The derby will be held on Broadway Avenue, beginning in front of city hall. The race is for special needs children. The children are the racers; they are helped out by Ghost Drivers who control the double seater cars. All cars have been built over the years by service and nonprofit organizations. It is free for participants; everything needed is provided by sponsors.
