Salem – Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Saturday in reference to a person pointing a gun at a dog and found that the owner of the dog was pointing a pellet gun at the dog while yelling at it. Court News LISBON — A woman who stole money from Wellsville Youth Baseball Inc. two years ago entered a guilty plea recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to grand theft. Shanice N. Thompson, 34, Aliquippa, Pa., will face sentencing Nov. 5 for the fourth-degree felony charge. According to the indictment issued earlier this year, she stole the money from Jan. 29, 2024 to May 28, 2024 from Wellsville Youth Baseball.
