Ronald Lee Tullis

Ron was born on October 23, 1958 in Salem, the son of the late Jack and Mildred (McLaughlin) Tullis.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cathy Jean (Johnson) Tullis, who lovingly cared for him during his time of illness; a son, Doug (Kathy); a daughter, Christine (Kurt); two sisters, Barbara and Bonnie; and seven grandchildre. Ron leaves behind a special cousin, Billy Cole from Texas, and his best friend and right-hand man, Kenny.

Ron attended Salem Senior High School and worked for many years at what is now Ventra Salem LLC.

Ron was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and even the family cat was named Raider. He also enjoyed riding four wheelers with his buddies. He will be missed by many friends and relatives.

The family wants to thank the staff at Sallem Healthcare North for taking such good care of Ron, and the others who were so helpful in his time of need.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral Home. Per his wishes, there will be no service or calling hours at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
