LISBON — Another status hearing has been set for 11 a.m. Aug. 14, with a trial tentatively set for Oct. 13, in the criminal case against Amanda M. LISBON — The jury trial for the man accused of causing the death of his pregnant girlfriend after allegedly running her over last year in East Liverpool remains set for Oct. 27. Cameron Martin, 20, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, appeared for an interim status hearing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court before Judge Megan Bickerton on Friday. Rulli says bill will end predatory litigation by ‘radical groups’

U.S. Rep. Michael Rulli, R-Salem, introduced a bill he said will end predatory litigation by “radical special-interest groups” against the federal government filed under the Equal Access to Justice Act. Columbiana receives nearly $665K for storm sewers

COLUMBIANA — The second and final round of federal funding has been released for one of the many storm water projects that are ongoing in the city. The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Ohio Emergency Management Agency have announced that $664,596 has been released to the city for new storm sewers in the area of East Park Avenue, Friend Street, Pittsburgh Street and Fairfield Avenue neighborhoods.
