Giant Eagle recalls roasted turkey sold in prepared foods departments due to potential presence of metal fragments

PITTSBURGH – Giant Eagle, Inc., has issued a voluntary recall of roasted turkey items produced at Fresh Foods Manufacturing in Freedom, Pennsylvania and sold in the prepared foods departments in Giant Eagle and Market District locations across western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and Indiana due to the potential presence of metal fragments.  The potential issue was discovered during routine inspection.
