County municipalities looking at safety for electric bike use

LISBON — As more people are opting to use electric bikes at least two Columbiana County municipalities are looking at ways to increase safety. Both Columbiana and East Palestine officials discussed the matter during their May council meetings. Columbiana City Manager Lance Willard said the police department is putting out informational flyers about the e-bikes and is also going to be communicating with the schools about the rules and regulations. “You see more and more of these bikes.
