LISBON In Columbiana County Municipal Court Friday Alexus Posey, 18, South Washington Street, East Palestine, was fined $50, placed on one year probation and required 12 hours community service for disorderly conduct for allegedly making unreasonable noise or an offensively coarse utterance, gesture, or display toward other students, staff and the administration of the East Palestine High School on Wednesday.
Tammy Gula, 40, Midland, Pa., was fined $60 for no operator’s license and no seat belt.
Joe W. Vancooney, 53, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $675, sentenced three days jail, placed on two years probation, had his driver’s license suspended six months and was required 40 hours community service for OVI breath above .08 gram first offense.
Leroy E. Stewart Jr., 41, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $200, given credit for one day served, placed on two years probation and required 40 hours community service for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Kelly R. Watkins, 21, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, was bound over to the county grand jury after she waived her right to a preliminary hearing for a complicity to receiving stolen property charge involving a television taken in Wellsville on Oct. 25, 2014.
Carl B. Moore, 36, Lusk Lock Road, Lisbon, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and a seat belt violation. An assured clear distance citation was dismissed.
Jerry A. Hoschar Jr., 47, East Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 25 hours community service and required a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense.
Jeanine M. Shivers, 50, East 15th Street, Salem, was fined $130 for leaving the scene and a red light violation.
Malcolm Gilford, 28, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $100 for open container.

Lisa L. Guiler, 45, state Route 344, Salem, was fined $50 and ordered to pay $403 in restitution to the Columbiana County Dog Warden for prohibitions concerning companion animals for a rottweiler found outdoors, emaciated and without food on a 14-degree day on Feb. 12.
Floyd E. Gilmore Jr., 36, Center Avenue, Lisbon, was credited with 26 days served for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking Dana Duffield on Oct. 30.
A March 2 pretrial was set for Christina M. Garver, 30, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, cited with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to stab her 15-year-old daughter on Tuesday, having a knife in her hand when police arrived and leaving a mark on the daughter’s neck.
A March 5 pretrial was set for Jerry P. Jackson, 33, East North Avenue, East Palestine, charged with assault for allegedly striking his girlfriend on Wednesday.

MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Jamie L. Bertolette, 51, Austintown, was fined $150 and sentenced to 60 days in jail for credit card misuse for obtaining a Shark Steam Mop and a popcorn machine on Feb. 5 and Feb. 12, using a JCPenney credit card belonging to Mary Calinger he was not authorized to use. The charges made were about $390. A restitution hearing is set for March 24.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Christopher D. Zepernick, 34, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $300, credited with one day served in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 40 hours of community service for six counts of possession of drug abuse instruments. Two additional counts of drug abuse instruments and two counts of endangering children were dismissed. Zepernick was charged for having numerous hypodermic needles, suspected powder narcotics, a blue straw with residue and other drug paraphernalia in the dresser of his bedroom on Aug. 4 where children could have easily gained access to them.
Debra L. Cantrell, 56, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $705, had her license suspended for 180 days and was required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense, headlights and left of center.
Elliot D. Crank, 20, East Fifth Street, Salem, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for underage consumption.
Cassandra F. Garrett, 23, Boston Street, Washingtonville, was fined $150, credited with one day served and required 30 hours community service for theft for shoplifting more than $50 in merchandise from Walmart in Salem on Dec. 9.
Benjamin T. Stickney, 35, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Curvis C.D. Keller, 32, Patterson Road, Alliance, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and a red light violation.
Stephanie J. Molter, 35, Eighth Street, Wellsville, was fined $100, credited with one day served in jail, had her license suspended for six months and required 40 hours community service for possession of a drug abuse instrument.

MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Monday, Jacob I. Greathouse, 18, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $150, credited with five days served in jail and ordered to serve five additional days for making false alarms for threatening to bomb Wellsville High School and shoot up the school, because he was angry with a teacher on Wednesday.
Two men reportedly in a Maple Avenue, Wellsville, home when police were called on Sunday also were in court Monday.
A March 2 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Tremaine D. Cowan, 24, Cleveland, charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, and one count each of having weapons while under a disability, obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cowan is alleged to have a loaded handgun in his pants pocket, a loaded revolver in his front waistband and at least one previous drug-related conviction precluding him from legally carrying a weapon. Additionally, Cowan allegedly gave police a false name when they responded to the Maple Avenue home on Sunday when a woman there claimed she was afraid. Cowan also reportedly had a scale with white powder in the pocket of his coat.
A March 5 pretrial was set for Gerard Bryant, 32, Maple Avenue, Wellsville, cited with resisting arrest for allegedly fleeing on foot from Wellsville police when they arrived at the Maple Avenue home. Bryant reportedly ran to and was located in a Lincoln Avenue home of Ryan McCaulley.
Adam R. Smith, 24, Orchard Grove, East Liverpool, was fined $450 and sentenced to six days in jail for two counts of driving under a 12-point suspension and a stop sign violation. The jail time is to run consecutive with another case in East Liverpool Municipal Court.
Tamara J. Clemens, 28, Sebring, was fined $250, required 40 hours community service, credited with five days served in jail and sentenced to five additional days for theft and criminal trespassing for going into the Salem Walmart where she was previously ordered not to return and then shoplifting $124 in merchandise on Wednesday.
Haley M. Moore, 18, Y and O Road, Wellsville, was fined $150, credited with one day served in jail and required 40 hours community service for assault for grabbing Shana Perrenoud by the hair, punching her in the face, kicking her and slamming her head off a dresser on Oct. 22.
Nicole R. Thompson, 38, state Route 172, Lisbon, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service, credited with two days served in jail and sentenced to two additional days in jail for domestic violence for striking her 15-year-old son on the arm four times on Nov. 18.
Kevin L. Byers, 23, Irondale, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for drug paraphernalia.
Fred A. Moore Jr., 38, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $150 for driving under FRA suspension.

Gasior, 41, West Fifth Street, Salem, cited with disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated after he was allegedly found sleeping in an apartment building stairwell on Walnut Street, Salem, on Friday when he claimed was homeless and became hostile with authorities.
A March 2 pretrial was set for Sara J. Eason, 22, Grant Street, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her mother and throwing a picture frame at her on Saturday.
An April 2 pretrial was set for Ronald L. Lowe, 45, Enon Valley, Pa., cited with open container, driving under suspension, failure to control and hit skip/leave scene.
An April 9 pretrial was set for Gerald W. Yerkey III, 22, New Buffalo Road, North Lima, charged with possession of marijuana and falsification for allegedly providing police his brother’s identity information on June 14, 2014, leading to his brother being wrongly charged with underage consumption and possession of marijuana.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, Julius D. Ruffin, 35, Lorain, was bound over to the county grand jury on a charge of tampering with evidence. Ruffin is accused of attempting to flush suspected narcotics down the toilet when authorities were entering the room at the Emerald Motel, Wellsville, with a search warrant.
Travis L. Thomas, 23, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $350, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for driving under OVI suspension.
Amanda D. Houchins, 33, Lexington Avenue, Beloit, was fined $300 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension and traffic control devices.
David J. McFadden, 36, Washington Street, Newell, W.Va., was fined $280 and required 60 hours community service for no license and a stop sign violation.
William M. Alesi III, 30, last known address Liberty Street, Salem, was fined $200, credited with 11 days served and required 30 hours community service for complicity to commit theft and criminal damaging for tearing open packs of anti-diarrhea medicine and placing them along with other items into a scooter driven by Heather Ferguson, which were then taken from Walmart on Feb. 8.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Three felony forgery charges were dismissed without prejudice against Hope L. Phillips, 30, Lynn Street, East Liverpool. Instead those three charges were refiled as criminal simulation.
Phillips was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail for five counts of criminal simulation for passing two counterfeit $10 bills at the Side Door Bar in Salem on Sept. 26, passing two $20 counterfeit bills to a delivery driver from Italo’s Pizza on Jan. 15, passing another counterfeit $20 to another delivery driver from Italo’s Pizza on Jan. 22, two $20 counterfeit bills to another delivery driver from an unlisted establishment on Jan. 16 and two counterfeit $20 bills to a delivery person from Family Lin on Jan. 15.
Jerry W. Castelucci Jr., North Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $1,055, sentenced to 10 days in jail, had his license suspended for one year and required 25 hours community service for OVI second offense, failure to reinstate a license and failure to display a valid sticker.
Dewon Bardo Turpin II, 22, Canton, was fined $725, had his license suspended for six months, required 10 hours community service and required to attend a three-day counseling program OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Robert G. Fowler, 34, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days and required three days in counseling for OVI first offense and a license plate light.
Renee Lynn Snyder, 46, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $200, credited with two days served in jail and required 30 hours community service for persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Snyder was found highly intoxicated on South Market in Lisbon on Tuesday, unable to stand on her own without falling into the roadway, pulled away from police attempting to place her into custody and attempted to kick a window out of the police cruiser.
Joshua M. Seeley, 30, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Nicole Whitcher, 19, East State Street, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Timothy Holden, 56, Walnut Street, Rogers, was fined $700, had his license suspended for 180 days and required to attend a three-day counseling session for OVI first offense and speeding.
Wayne E. Smith Jr., 49, West Street, Columbiana, was find $250 for no license and expired registration.
Gamal Ali, 27, Canton, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.
David G. Gasior, 41, West Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $250, credited with one day served and sentenced to an additional 29 days in jail for disorderly conduct for refusing to cooperate with police who were called and asked to remove an intoxicated person from a home, only to have Gasior refuse attempts to get him a ride home.
Jeffery L. Falk Jr., 30, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for failure to control. A citation of failure to stop after an accident was dismissed.
Paul E. Meyers, 39, North Vines Street, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with seven days served in jail, ordered to serve an additional 23 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence for pushing Angie McElroy in the chest on Feb. 4.
Lee Knight, 19, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service, credited with three days served in jail and ordered to serve two additional days for criminal damaging for damage to a Buick Rendezvous belonging to Melanie M. Butler. A restitution hearing was set for Feb. 19.
Joy Mraz, 55, Youngstown, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.
A March 2 sentencing hearing was set for Dustin C. Brayshaw, 21, Cedar Ridge Road, Salem, who pleaded guilty to obstructing official business for hiding from police investigating the assault of a woman on Wednesday.
An April 27 pretrial was set for Gerald L. Detrick, 38, West Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with falsification for allegedly presenting police an invalid insurance card when he was involved in a traffic crash on Jan. 30.

LISBON – A Feb. 17 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Robert L. Byrd Jr., 34, Harker Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft, aggravated trespassing, criminal damaging and domestic violence. Byrd allegedly on Jan. 28 entered the home of Christina Carlson, Aten Avenue, Wellsville, with whom he has a child. Byrd then allegedly broke several wooden chairs by smashing them into the walls of her home and tossed other items around the kitchen causing them to break. He also reportedly struck her in the back of the head and scratched her right forearm before leaving her home and stealing her car.
Codey A. Mobley, 20, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, was bound over to the grand jury for two counts of domestic violence. Mobley is accused of shoving his mother Bobbie Jo McIntyre and tackling her other son, Seth Mobley, on Jan. 31.
Jonathan S. Percy, 23, state Route 46, New Waterford, was fined $955, had his license suspended for one year and was sentenced to 14 days in jail for OVI second offense, speeding and a seat belt violation.
Troy A. Hughes, 42, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $950, had his license suspended for one year and sentenced to six days in jail for OVI first offense, hit skip and improper passing.
John E. Howard, 48, Kevin Drive, Alliance, was fined $300 and sentenced to 45 days in jail for unauthorized use of property for illegal hook ups to Time Warner Cable at trailers nine, 12, 13, 15 and 16 on Kevin Drive, along with trailer 53 on Steven Drive.
Christopher A. Frankhauser, 29, Mallo Road Northeast, Minerva, was fined $250, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to attend a three-day counseling program for reckless operation second offense amended from OVI first offense. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
Leanna N. Skiba, 30, North Broadway, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Twyla R. Bingham, 19, Woodworth Road, New Springfield, was fined $185 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.
David J. Hause, 56, Maple Street, Lisbon, was fined $835, required 25 hours community service, sentenced to attend a three-day counseling program and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense, seat belt, speeding and marijuana paraphernalia.
Joseph Staff Ileno, 58, Milford, Mich., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

An April 6 pretrial was set for Wayne J. Hilliard, 52, state Route 344, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly injuring Larry Allen Macklin Jr. by pushing him off a bar stool and onto the floor at the Eagles in Leetonia on Sunday.
Charges of OVI first offense and a lane violation against Lisa K. Duvall, 43, Monroe Avenue, Salem, were dismissed due to her death.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Carl W. Young Jr., 41, John Street, Salineville, was fined $1,350, had his license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to three days in jail for three counts of driving under suspension, a stop sign violation, unauthorized plate, failure to transfer a registration, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and two counts of passing bad checks for a $40 check written to Pilmer’s Auto on Oct. 15 and a $65 check to the same business on Oct. 16.
Kevin W. Zimmerly, 52, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $705, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense and lane violations. A tail lights violation was dismissed.
Daniel W. Burpo, 42, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $675, credited with two days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Joseph Courtwright, 46, Pine Lake Road, Beloit, was fined $675, sentenced to three days in jail, required 30 hours community service, had his license suspended for six months and ordered to attend counseling for OVI first offense. A two headlights displayed citation was dismissed.
Les Lee Crowe, 42, West Pidgeon Road, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for harming Tamara L. Egolf by pushing her and causing her to fall down the basement stairs on Dec. 9.

The two teens allegedly threw several items causing vandalism to a 2007 Buick Rendezvous belonging to Melanie Butler by breaking the driver’s window, causing several dents in the driver’s side door, leaving a ding in the windshield and cracking the passenger side rear tail light.

Wilson is accused of shooting at a deer, but striking the garage door and wall of the garage of a home on County Airport Road on Dec. 1. Additionally, Wilson allegedly shot a deer without a valid game tag and shot before the legal hunting hours.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Feb. 19 pretrial was set for William M. Alesi III, 30, last known address Liberty Street, Salem, charged with complicity to commit theft and criminal damaging for allegedly tearing open five packs of Loperamid anti-diarrhea medicine and placing them in a motor scooter cart being operated by his girlfriend, Heather Ferguson, at Walmart in Salem on Sunday. Additionally, he placed a four-pack of Bic pens, two energy shots and a two-pack of Bicycle pens into the cart, before Ferguson allegedly drove past the cashiers without paying for the items, which were valued at $32. A March 31 pretrial was set for Heather K. Ferguson, 30, East 10th Street, Salem, charged with theft.

Rebecca L. Masterson, 52, West Pershing Street, Salem, was bound over to the grand jury for charges of illegal manufacture of drugs and possession of the chemicals for drugs in connection to an alleged meth lab discovered on Jan. 22.

A Feb. 9 preliminary hearing was set for Codey A. Mobley, 20, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly shoving his mother, Bobbie Jo McIntyre, and tackling his brother, Seth Mobley, who was attempting to get him to leave on Saturday. Hopper, 46, Romeo, Mich., was fined $400 and ordered to pay the division of wildlife $500 for hunting without a special deer permit and three miscellaneous wildlife violations for taking more than one antlered deer, purchasing a permit after killing the deer and falsifying information on the tag.
