Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Thomas J. Panek, 58, Atwater, was fined $750 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 85 days suspended and credit for one day served, leaving a balance of four days to serve in jail after a jury found him guilty this week of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Salem — Officers responded to the 300 block of East Sixth Street at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a person causing problems outside of a residence. Officers spoke with the caller who advised that a person known to him had been outside his home yelling and that she pushed over his trash can before leaving on foot. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the woman at that time. The woman did return to the residence several minutes later and officers spoke with her, and the woman was trespassed from the residence and advised of the consequences if she returned. — ...
