“United with the love of his life once again.” James “Jim” Harold Brawley, 84, of Salem, passed away at his home, in the company of his loving family, Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born in Durst, Georgia to John Harrison and Ethel Mae Brawley. He moved to Kent as a young boy, graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School with the class of 1957, and married his classmate and wife of 64 years, Janet L. (Apley) also of Kent.
