Heartland takes Hoopin’ into the New Year title
COLUMBIANA — Heartland Christian jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 50 seconds and the rout was on. The Lions ran past Crestview, 91-62, Tuesday in the championship game of Heartland’s fifth annual Hoopin’ into the New Year Tournament. The Lions won the tournament for the third straight year and fourth overall. They improved to 9-0 on the season and upped their scoring average to 76.6 points a game.
