The Lisbon Blue Pride Marching Band recently held its annual Band Banquet where students were given awards, letters, and bars for years of participation. The Lisbon Band Parents Association also received a donation from Kristen Huston, owner and President of the Almost Perfect Foundation Store and Resale in the amount of $650.00. The Almost Perfect Foundation is a non-profit organization located on the square in downtown Lisbon. It accepts gently used items and resells them, donating the profits to local non-profit organizations. Huston donated the proceeds from sales from January through March of 2022. The Lisbon Band Parents Association assists the Marching Band with expenses throughout the school year. The Band Parents also honored Huston at the Banquet, as well as other local businesses, Save a Lot, Halls of Fame, and Jeff’s Produce, who have generously donated to help the band throughout the 2021 Marching Season.
