Sheriff’s Office — A deputy was dispatched at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday to a report of littering on Augusta Road near Ridge Road, West Township, finding a twin mattress and box spring left on the road against a snow bank. The items were photographed and dragged off the roadway onto the west shoulder. The deputy contacted West Township for removal of the items from the roadway. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Michael David Bruce, 29, South Broadway Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury for operating a vehicle impaired fourth offense and OVI refusal with prior within 20 years for allegedly driving while impaired on Jan. 4 in East Liverpool, with several prior convictions for OVI, including two in 2024 and one in 2017. The caller advised that their ex-girlfriend was accessing his emails and would not stop contacting him.
