Sheriff’s Office — A state Route 45 resident in Madison Township reported people trespassing on his property at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday. A deputy checked the property, but didn’t find anyone. — A 911 call from an auto alert was received at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday about a severe crash at Pine Hollow and Riffle roads. West Point EMS, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and deputies responded to the area, but could not find a crash. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, two of the four people charged with multiple counts related to a break-in at the former East Liverpool Motor Lodge last week were ordered to serve 20 days in jail. Sheriff’s Office — Deputies were dispatched at 5:06 a.m. Saturday to state Route 164, Fairfield Township, regarding a welfare check, with a caller advising they could hear a woman screaming at a neighboring residence. Upon arrival at the suspected residence, a deputy made contact with a man who allowed the responding deputies inside the residence. The man advised that everything was OK and medical treatment was not needed. Another deputy went to a bedroom and spoke with the woman. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Jan. 28 for Patrick Joseph Dilworth, 38, New Springfield, charged with third-degree felony compelling prostitution and fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website of a juvenile female being portrayed as a foster child runaway and arranging to have sexual activity with her in exchange for $140, then traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 19 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. ...

Officers made contact with an employee who reported a concern about people circling the store.
